What Is Thalassotherapy?
“Practised on a privileged coastal site, and under medical supervision with a view to prevention or cure, thalassotherapy means the combined use of all the beneficial aspects of the sea environment, viz. the climate, sea waterand various types of sea mud, seaweed, sand, and other substances derived from the sea.
Treatments Offered
Marine Mud: Application of a type of mud treatment with seawater made at the centre using a sophisticated process that is unique in Spain involving preparation, maturation, sterilisation and heating.
Hydromassage bath: Massage with bubbles in sea water at 38ºC though Hydromassage bath and Assisted hydromassage bath (underwater jet)
Marine Circuit: Labyrinth of contrasts. Enjoy the effects of our dry and wet saunas, bithermal showers, the cave of ice, the pediluvium and the relaxation pool.
Thalassia Massage: General massage under a seawater shower, using marine mud as a massage medium.
